[Institution] Activity Guide
1. What Is Activity
Activity is OSL Institutional's audit log center, recording every action that has taken place within the institution — not just approval-related operations, but also things like inviting team members, creating Approval Rules/Approval Groups, Convert trades, and OTC/RFQ orders. Whether compliance/risk staff need to trace back "what exactly happened at a given point in time," or a team member wants to check "where my submitted request currently stands," Activity is where to find the answer.
The Activity page has three tabs:
Approvals: view every approval request under the current Portfolio
History: view the complete historical record of every operation across the institution, not limited to approval-related ones
Orders: view OTC / Convert (RFQ) trade order records
2. How to Use It
2.1 Approvals
Go to Activity → Approvals to see every approval request under the current Portfolio — this is not limited to requests related to you.
Style filter: narrows the full list down to what you care about, including "Pending my approval," "Initiated by me," "Approved," and "All"
Status filter: further narrows results by approval status
Search in the top right lets you search by activity name
Table columns: Activity (the operation name), Initiated By (who submitted it and when), Status (current state and when it was last updated), and Actions (e.g. an "Approval" link while pending, or "View" once resolved)
Clicking any row opens the Activity details page, which shows:
Details: the specifics of that operation — for example Portfolio, Label, Access Level, Permission Settings, IP Address (the exact fields shown vary by Operation Type)
Timeline: the full approval timeline, showing in order: Initiated (who submitted it and when), the outcome from each Approval Group (e.g. "Approved test (all must approve)," showing that group's approval policy and the time it approved), and End (when the process concluded)
2.2 History
Go to Activity → History to see the complete history of operations across the institution — not limited to ones that went through an approval flow. This includes things like adding or editing Approval Rules, creating Approval Groups, inviting team members, and Convert trades.
Supports filtering by Start date → End date
Supports Search by activity name
Table columns: Activity (the operation name plus a short sub-description, e.g. which rule was edited or which email was invited), Initiated By (who and when), Status (e.g. Completed)
Download CSV in the top right exports the records currently in view
2.3 Orders
Go to Activity → Orders to see OTC / Convert trade order records.
Type filter: switch between OTC and RFQ (i.e. Convert trades) order types
Supports filtering by date range
Supports Search by Order ID or trading pair
Table columns: Time (when it was filled), Pair (the trading pair), Pay (amount and currency paid), Receive (amount and currency received), Price (fill price), State (e.g. Completed), and Order ID (with a one-click copy icon)
Download CSV in the top right also exports the orders currently in view
