All users are required to complete identity verification when opening an account with OSL Digital Securities Limited. Please refer to the following guide to help you complete the onboarding process smoothly.

The verification process consists of the following 9 steps:

Step 1: Register an Account

Enter your email address, set a login password, and accept the terms and conditions to proceed to the KYC verification process..

Step 2: Verify your mobile number

Enter your mobile number and complete the verification (please use a number from the same country as your proof of address to avoid affecting the review result).

Step 3: Identity Document and Facial Recognition

Please follow the system instructions to capture and upload clear images of both sides of your identity document and complete the live facial recognition scan.

Tip: If you do not hold a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card, it is recommended to use your passport. If you upload a Hong Kong (non-permanent) ID, please select the nationality shown on your passport in the next step.

Step 4: Provide Personal Information

Nationality: Please enter the country shown on your passport.

Tax Information: For Hong Kong residents, the Tax Identification Number (TIN) is the full Hong Kong Identity Card number, including all characters inside parentheses (excluding the parentheses themselves).

Step 5: Submit Proof of Address

Submit an official document showing your full name and residential address, such as a bank statement or utility bill. The proof of address must meet the following criteria:

• A full-page (A4) or complete document (supported formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG)

• Issued within the last 3 months

• Full name matching the name on your Hong Kong Identity Card or passport

• Residential address only – business addresses are not accepted

Step 6: Background and Wealth Information

Please provide accurate information about your occupation, source of income, and asset details. All information will be used for suitability assessment and compliance review.

*Ensure the information is complete and accurate to avoid delays in the account opening process.

Step 7: Digital Asset Knowledge Assessment

There are 8 questions in total. Users must answer all questions correctly to proceed.

Step 8: Signature Submission

Please sign using the exact name shown on your identity document.

Step 9: Bank Verification - Deposit HKD 10,000 (or USD 1300)

To comply with SFC regulations, users must complete a deposit of HKD 10,000 to complete the verification process and may be withdrawn after the account has been successfully activated.

Please ensure the transfer is made from a bank account under your own name. Third-party or joint accounts are not accepted.

• The verification process typically takes 2–3 business days, provided that all required documents and information are submitted completely and accurately.

• Depending on individual circumstances, OSL may request additional information or supporting documents, which may extend the verification timeline.

• Our review team may also contact you via email if further clarification or account-related information is required.
