Why did my eDDA deposit fail?
Nov 4, 2025
Most eDDA authorization failures occur due to mismatches between your bank account details, account holder name, or ID number.
Here are common reasons and solutions:
- 1.Bank account does not exist
Verify your bank account number in your online banking or bank statement.
- 2.Name does not match the bank account
Ensure the name you entered matches the name registered with your bank exactly (including order and format).
Note: OSL displays names in the format “First Name + Last Name”. Most banks can automatically recognise and match the name regardless of order.
- 3.Invalid ID number
Confirm your ID type and ID number are correct.
- 4.ID number does not match the bank’s records
Use the same ID registered with your bank. If you previously updated your ID with the bank, enter the updated one.
- 5.Name/ID number does not match the bank account
Ensure it’s your own account and review the registered ID details.
- Other tips: Try another bank account or FPS deposit if issues persist.
