December marked a pivotal close to the year for OSL Institutional, with meaningful progress across tokenized funds, stablecoin infrastructure, real-world assets (RWAs), and institutional engagement. From product launches to global thought leadership, the month reflected OSL's continued focus on building compliant, institution-ready digital financial infrastructure.

OSL announced the launch of USDGO, a U.S. dollar–backed stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital under U.S. federal oversight. As part of OSL Group's global payments strategy, USDGO will serve as a core building block of its next-generation compliant payment infrastructure.

Designed for real-economic use cases, USDGO enables faster, more efficient, and cost-effective settlement for businesses across e-commerce, gaming, and international trade. For investors, it offers a trusted, regulated on-chain allocation option through OSL's global trading platforms and payment gateways.

Expected to launch in early 2026, USDGO represents a significant step forward in delivering compliant digital-asset payment solutions at an institutional scale.

At Solana Breakpoint 2025 in Abu Dhabi, Eugene Cheung, Chief Commercial Officer at OSL, shared the firm’s vision for the next phase of compliant stablecoin trading and payments.

USDGO was positioned not as "another stablecoin," but as a regulated USD-backed payment infrastructure purpose-built for enterprise and institutional adoption.

Key highlights included:

  • Issued by Anchorage Digital under U.S. federal oversight, with OSL as branding and distribution partner

  • Designed to operate as part of global financial rails—not a standalone crypto product

  • Launching in Q1 2026, with Solana as the first deployment chain and multi-chain expansion planned

  • Integrated with OSL BizPay to enable instant settlement, lower cross-border costs, and improved treasury efficiency

OSL remains committed to building a compliant, scalable payment infrastructure that connects digital assets with real-world financial activity.

ChinaAMC USD Digital Money Market Fund Launch

OSL is proud to serve as the regulated distributor of the ChinaAMC USD Digital Money Market Fund, expanding institutional access to high-quality, tokenized cash-management solutions.

The Fund seeks to deliver long-term U.S. dollar returns in line with prevailing money market rates by investing in short-term deposits and high-quality money market instruments. It is issued and managed by ChinaAMC (Hong Kong), one of Asia’s leading asset managers.

As a licensed digital asset platform, OSL acts as the regulated distributor, enabling investors to access and trade fund tokens within a compliant, institutional-grade environment. This collaboration bridges traditional money market products with on-chain settlement—combining ChinaAMC’s asset management expertise with OSL’s regulated digital infrastructure.

Events & Institutional Engagements

Web5 Ecosystem: Shaping a New Era of Global Wealth Management

6.png

The Web5 Ecosystem: Shaping a New Era of Global Wealth Management summit, organized by Finloop HK and Fosun Wealth Holdings, brought together policymakers, regulators, legal experts, licensed infrastructure providers, asset managers, and global digital asset platforms.

As a panelist, Eugene Cheung represented OSL's licensed, B2B institutional perspective, discussing Hong Kong's transition into "Compliance 2.0"—from virtual asset licensing to stablecoin legislation and long-term regulatory roadmaps. The discussion explored practical, compliant pathways for connecting Web2 and Web3, alongside the expanding role of licensed infrastructure, tokenization, stablecoins, and RWAs in institutional wealth management.

A clear consensus emerged: governance, risk management, and regulatory clarity are no longer optional—they are foundational product requirements. Hong Kong has moved beyond debating whether to regulate Web3 and is now focused on building durable, institution-ready ecosystems under credible rules.

Joined by Katie He from China Asset Management (Hong Kong) during the Solana Breakpoint event, Eugene and Katie discussed how Hong Kong's digital asset market is translating regulatory clarity into real-world adoption.

The conversation highlighted rising demand across both institutional and retail segments—from spot crypto ETFs already live in Hong Kong to the next wave of tokenized money market funds. This momentum is underpinned by clear frameworks from the SFC and HKMA, enabling licensed institutions to support virtual assets alongside direct fiat deposits and withdrawals.

Eugene emphasized OSL's focus on building the regulated infrastructure layer—connecting custody, execution, tokenization, and settlement to support long-term, scalable adoption. From stablecoins and RWAs to USDGO as an on-chain settlement layer powered by Solana, OSL's objective remains clear: enabling institutions and businesses to move value faster, safer, and at global scale.

As Asia and the Middle East continue to emerge as digital asset hubs, Hong Kong—alongside institutions like ChinaAMC and OSL—is helping define the standard for regulated digital assets in real-world markets.

Looking Ahead

As 2025 draws to a close, OSL enters 2026 with strong momentum—focused on expanding compliant product access, deepening institutional partnerships, and building the infrastructure that connects traditional finance with the on-chain economy.
