Omnibus

In August, OSL expanded product innovation with the launch of SOL/USD retail trading on Omnibus — becoming Hong Kong's first licensed exchange to do so. Available via FlashTrade, BlockTrade, and Orderbook, this milestone broadens regulated access to digital assets while upholding OSL’s institutional-grade standards.

Wealth Management

On the Wealth Management front, OSL has finalized the design of a dedicated Wealth Channel, set to launch on the OSL app in September 2025 with a focus on staking, structured products, and RWA solutions. Several core projects are already secured, laying the groundwork for yield generation, structured investments, and tokenized asset opportunities for institutional and high-net-worth clients.

Ethereum Foundation RWA Tokenization Workshop | Hong Kong

OSL hosted the Ethereum Foundation Enterprise Team’s first official Hong Kong visit, bringing together nearly 30 senior executives from leading institutions. Keynotes by David Walsh (Global Head of Enterprise, Ethereum Foundation) and Mo Jalil (APAC Head of Enterprise) outlined blockchain’s institutional potential, OSL showcased StableX, Tokenworks, and BizPay, and a panel with Fosun, Volmart, Pando Finance, and OSL discussed scaling institutional blockchain adoption.

WebX Fintech Expo | Japan

At WebX Fintech Expo 2025, Eugene Cheung, CCO of OSL, discussed RWA tokenization as a bridge between TradFi and blockchain. The panel addressed custody, compliance, and the role of regulated stablecoins in cross-border finance, reinforcing OSL’s position as a trusted advisor for institutional Web3 adoption.

Yicai Interview

Eugene Cheung, CCO of OSL, was featured on Yicai in a 6-minute segment titled "Smart Trading: Hong Kong's Innovative Finance in Action," where he shared perspectives on stablecoin policy, ETH staking, and OSL's collaboration with regulators to shape the industry responsibly. OTC & RWA Partnership with SINOHOPE

OSL partnered with SINOHOPE to enhance digital asset services for Hong Kong’s high-net-worth clients, combining OSL’s institutional infrastructure with SINOHOPE's private banking expertise to advance OTC and RWA innovation and set a new benchmark in the market.

Alibaba Cloud Stablecoin Innovation Forum

Kevin Law, OSL's Head of Strategic Partnerships, joined the Alibaba Cloud Stablecoin Innovation Forum alongside industry leaders to discuss practical applications of RWA tokenization and stablecoins. The session highlighted OSL's role in bridging technology, regulation, and institutional client needs.

Bitcoin Asia: The Regulated Edge — Cocktail Reception

The OSL-hosted cocktail reception brought together over 300 industry participants, co-organized with Starbase and sponsored by Huawei Cloud and Solowin Holdings. The event featured discussions on RWAs, stablecoins, and regulated finance, creating meaningful opportunities for relationship-building and knowledge sharing among senior executives, investors, and innovators.

WebX 2025 Panel Participation

Eugene Cheung, CCO of OSL, joined a distinguished panel with Nobutake Suzuki (MUFG Innovation Partners) and Stephen Richardson (Fireblocks), moderated by Angelina A. Kwan CPA CA (Stratford Finance). The panel explored finance, regulation, and security frameworks enabling institutional adoption of Web3, reinforcing OSL's credibility as a trusted partner for sophisticated financial institutions.
